Directorate of the Materials Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on the sensitivity of Nanoparticles of tin dioxide to chlorine as a function of temperature via using the density function theory. The study included adopting the theory of density function, Gibbs free energy to evaluate the semiconductor sensitivity of the tin oxide clusters of chlorine gas and studying the oxygen substitution reactions in the disintegration of chlorine molecules and adhesion of chlorine molecules.
