Directorate of Renewable Energies, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on designing solar irrigation systems for the benefit of Imam Ali Holy Shrine. The study reviewed parts, designs and sizes of the irrigation systems operating by solar energy and providing a table of models and specifications of these systems with estimated costs. The study highlighted the importance of implementing and designing irrigation and water pumping systems besides meeting the intentional design requirements in light of the international standards.
