Misan University: On Stem Cells

College of Agriculture, University of Misan organized a symposium on stem cell. The symposium, in which a number of faculty members participated, reviewed stem cells, health importance, applications in cell therapy, overcoming immune rejection, developing medical drugs and identifying the main causes of deadly diseases such as cancer. The symposium also reviewed the stem cells are non-specialized cells but are capable of switching to be any type of body cell and are able to constantly regenerate to replace cells that die on a daily.
