College of Education, University of Samarra discussed a master dissertation on the chromatographic determination of some drugs in pharmaceutical preparations by the postgraduate student, Mr. Muhammad Hamid Mahdi.
The dissertation aimed at identifying the HPLC high-performance liquid chromatography in terms of the principle of work and the types of static phases around the drugs Paracetamol (PAR), Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (PHE), Guaifenesin (GUA), in terms of name, chemical composition, molecular formula, weight Molecular, drug properties, uses and estimation technique.
The dissertation confirmed the determination of the greatest absorption of the drug compounds under study, with the disclosure of the best conditions for the determination of drug compounds via using HPLC technology in terms of pH, components of the mobile phase and its flow velocity, as well as temperature and separation columns.
