College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra discussed a master dissertation on the level of some fatty and muscular kinetics and a number of blood and biochemical parameters for patients with hyperlipidemia by postgraduate the student, Mrs. Safaa Mansour Rashid.
The dissertation reviewed a study of the relation between hyperlipidemia, metabolic disorders and liver functions by measuring a number of hormonal, biochemical and blood parameters and comparing them to a group of healthy people.
The dissertation demonstrated a significant increase (P≤0.05) in each of TC, TG, LDL, VLDL, ALT, AST, ALP, LDLReceptor-11, and a decrease in the level (P≤0.05) in each of Myostatin, TNF-α and HDL, compared to the healthy subjects.
The dissertation highlighted that there was no significant difference at the level (P≤0.05) in Irisin, Adiponectin, Hb, PCV, WBC, RBC, PLT and BMI in patients.
