A research team from the Directorate of Information Technology, merged Ministry of Science and Technology launched a face recognition system and identifying people via digital images. The team reviewed that the new application works to determine the features of the face in the cameras and compare them to the stored images in the database depending on the shape and size of the eyes and dimensions of the nose and cheekbones that allow to track the path of the person within the specified date and draw a path for his movements. The team highlighted that the system is working within the web environment for easy use by user without the need for extra effort or time to get information as well as the high flexibility of the graphical interface.
