Center of Computer, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a workshop on e-learning platform and its role in the academic process. The workshop, in which a number of specialists and faculty members participated, reviewed e-learning platform, most prominent features and characteristics, how to use it and how to benefit from the services it provides for faculty members and students. The workshop highlighted the importance of adopting an e-learning platform to support traditional education in Iraqi universities, developing students' skills, improving their performance and ensuring credibility and transparency and the criteria they adopt for student real assessment as well as describing each criterion, which include the student's skills, knowledge, activities, public contributions and test scores. The workshop also reviewed that the e-learning platform provides the faculty members with the capacity to know where the student got the information, allow the student to object to the obtained degree and to be notified to this objection.
