Department of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up, Basrah University of Oil and Gas organized a workshop on competitive grants for projects supported by the World Bank. The workshop, in which a number of heads of units and faculty members participated, reviewed the competitive financing project, how to apply, mechanisms of submitted project and improving graduate competencies and promoting innovation and creativity and the real contribution to development via meeting the needs of the labor market via linking Higher Education’s institutions with the private sector. The workshop recommended reviewing details of applying for the project and the necessity to adhere to the standards to develop the university's graduates to meet the requirements of the labor market, especially in the fields of the oil and gas sector and industrial management.
